Middle East group
Lebanon - Trust
Trust was established in Lebanon in 1990 being the exclusive representative of Linguaphone – London, since 1997, for the Middle East countries.
Syria – AlDawlya
AlDawlya was established in Syria in July 2004
Jordan – Ta'heel for Language Training
Ta'heel was established in Jordan in November 2006
UAE- Professional Language Center
Professional Language Center was established in UAE in February 2008
KSA- Al Khaleej Training & Education
Al Khaleej Training & Education was established in 2003. Started a Linguaphone operation in KSA in December 2009
Iraq- Al-Etkan for Language Training
Al Etkan for Language Training was established in IRAQ in December 2009
Our Methodology
Established in 1901, Linguaphone has always been the pioneer of self-study language learning. Although we now produce language courses in CD, MP4 and MP3 downloadable formats, in the early days we were the first to recognise the potential of combining the traditional written course with the wax cylinder and later with records!
Throughout the years, all Linguaphone language courses have allowed customers to study at their own pace using books and original recordings supported by Linguaphone's proven methodology 'Listen, Understand, Speak'.
Listen
Listening to native speakers in your new language is the most relaxing and involved way to learn, helping you associate the sounds you hear with the words and sentences you read.
Understand
By listening and reading the language, you begin to discover what each word means. Everyday objects have exciting new names. Gradually words, then phrases, become clear and your reading, writing and speaking of the language will improve.
Speak
Many people find that speaking their new language is the hardest part. But Linguaphone’s method makes sure that you start speaking from the very first lesson with the correct pronunciation.
